16th Annual PPLYC Triathlon

Join us on Saturday, July 12th to swim, bike & run or to cheer on your neighbors at the lake in a relaxed and fun setting. Only race around that lets you sleep in a bit with a 10:00 AM start!

Day of registration 8:00-9:45 but to guarantee a race t-shirt please register online below. We also ask that you prepay to make registration more seamless. Please first fillout the electronic form below for each particpants and then use the payment links below (adult and child) for the number of people you are registering.

Race is timed by an experienced group of volunteers to keep cost low.

FULL COURSE recommended for 11 and over

Swim about 200 yards - Bike around the lake 8.25 miles - Run 3 miles around the islands

30 yards, 3 miles, 1.5 miles

IMPORTANT: kids race starts after most of the full course participants have finished, approximately 11:00 AM. VERY IMPORTANT: race must be started by a Race Official (in a yellow t-shirt) and not a parent. We thank you for understanding.

SAFETY

Kayaks are positioned in the water to watch over swimmers.

Helmets must be worn on the bikes at all times. Every biker is responsible to manage a safe distance from others. Rules for biking are the same as driving, the person behind is responsible to stop if the person ahead stops for any reason.

Two water stations will be available on the run. Athletes are encouraged to have plenty of water on their bikes and fuel up in transition.

RACE FINISH

All finishers will receive a race medal, water and snack.

AFTER PARTY

When the Kids Race ends, we will have an Awards Ceremony. Top 3 places will be given for 25 & Under (male, female) Adults 26-54 (male, female) and 1st place for Adults 55+ (male, female). Top 3 finishers for Kids 6 & under and Kids 7-11 will also get a trophy.

Bar opens for spectators when the race starts at 10:00 AM. Grill food available for purchase at 11:00 AM. All triathletes, family & friends are welcome to stay at the club to enjoy our beautiful grounds and view and celebrate as a community!
